Enhance launched the Tetris Effect: Connected World Championship (TECWC) tournament in 2022 and its first event “Tri-Effect-A” was the largest official head-to-head Tetris tournament ever with over 900 players in all skill levels from over 40 countries.

Tri-Effect-A was a tournament that tested players’ skills in three of Tetris Effect: Connected’s multiplayer modes: Zone Battle, Classic Score Attack, and Score Attack. High placement in a game mode bracket qualified the player for the multi-mode main event to crown the true all-around Tetris Effect: Connected World Champion! Each game mode had a separate bracket divided into tiers based on skill level. Participants of the Tri-Effect-A event competed for over $2,000 in prizes and giveaways!

The tournament was run via the Enhance Discord, where players found their matches, watched streams and spoke to tournament staff. Matches were broadcast in English on the CTWC Twitch channel, alongside a Japanese broadcast on the Enhance Experience Twitch channel.

CONNECTED 2022
Connected 2022 was a second event under the Tetris Effect: Connected World Championship. This was an online invitational featuring the first-ever team competition in the game’s co-op Connected Vs. mode. In collaboration with the Classic Tetris World Championship (CTWC), we also hosted an offline event at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo.
