TETRIS® EFFECT NOW AVAILABLE ON PLAYSTATION®4 WORLDWIDE – TETRIS® LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN IT, HEARD IT, OR FELT IT BEFORE

TOKYO, Japan – Nov. 9, 2018 – Enhance, Inc. announced today that their highly anticipated upcoming PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®VR puzzle game Tetris® Effect is now available to purchase worldwide. The beautiful Tetris Effect Yours Forever Dynamic Theme made by Truant Pixel features the song “Connected (Yours Forever)” from the game’s debut trailer and is available on the PS Store for $2.99. Seven different Tetris Effect PSN avatars are also available for $0.99 each.

Mini-Documentary: The Tetris Effect “Mental Blocks” Mini-Documentary
A mini-documentary about the Tetris Effect (the psychological phenomenon) as Tetris Effect the game (PS4 and optionally PS VR) nears release. Hear from both players and scientists about this mysterious but amazing experience many of us have shared.

JOURNEY MODE
This is the main campaign and the heart of Tetris Effect. After choosing from one of three difficulties (Beginner, Normal, Expert), players journey through a series of stages, each with their own theme, graphics, music, sound effects, etc. all of which sync to the gameplay.
EFFECT MODESThese are all the other modes in the game – a collection of varying setups and rules designed to evoke different moods the player might be in (or want to be in), as well as varying skill levels.
Effect Modes are divided into four categories based loosely on what “effect” the player is meant to come away with, i.e. chill out with “Relax,” concentrate with “Focus,” enjoy the familiarity / nostalgia of “Classic” modes, or try something unique with “Adventurous.”
WEEKEND RITUAL
Every weekend starting at 12:00pm UTC, a special “Weekend Ritual” community event will run for 24 hours over the weekend, during which all players can play a specified Effect Mode category to earn points towards a Community Goal. If 100% of that Community Goal is reached in the 24 hour period, a special (rare) in-game avatar will unlock for all players who participated in the event. A different Effect Mode category (Classic, Relax, Focus, or Adventurous) will be spotlighted each week.
